Cheryl

Office Manager

Cheryl has been with Cloninger Dentistry since September 2001. She has worked both chairside and in the front office, and she enjoys doing both. She also holds a Radiation Certification from CPCC. Cheryl is always ready to lend a hand wherever needed to ensure the office runs smoothly and patients are well cared for. She is married to Gary and has two grown children and five grandchildren: Heather and Jeremy Sapp (Cason and Ayla) and Bradley and Caitlin Morris (Lillie, Callum, and Esther Ann). In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, who are the light of her life!

Tonya

Front Desk

Tonya is one of our front desk receptionists. She has been in the dental profession since 2006. She moved to Cherryville in 2011 and began her career with Cloninger Dentistry. Tonya enjoys working with patients to ensure they are well taken care of. She is married to Randy and has three children, Katlyn, Hailey and Kemper and two grandsons, Carter and Lucas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and crafting.

Kristin

Front Office

Kristin has been with Cloninger Dentistry since June 2024. She is an essential smiling face at our front desk. She has been in the dental field since 2017 and truly enjoys making sure each patient feels important an appreciated. She has a blended family with her husband troy. They have 3 grown children, Tucker, Emily and Kelly and 5 grandchildren, Aubrey, Paisley, Charley, Izabella and Aspen. In her free time, she enjoys camping, music festivals and spending time with family.

Kimberley

Dental Hygienist

Kimberley is a graduate of Cherryville High School. After graduating, she attended Central Piedmont Community College where she earned her dental assisting certification in 2001. After assisting for over 5 years, Kimberley decided to further her education in the dental profession. She attended Catawba Valley Community College where she earned her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on the importance of their overall dental health. Kimberley is married and has two beautiful daughters, Kendall and Karsyn. She enjoys spending time with her family and any outdoor activities.

Dakota

Dental Hygienist

Dakota is a dental hygienist that is local to Cherryville. She attended Lake Norman Dental Assisting School in 2018 and worked as a dental assistant until 2023. She graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in 2025 to practice hygiene. She is happily married and loves to spend time with her husband and family. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling and shopping!

Jane

Dental Hygienist

Jane graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in 2002 with her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys building a relationship with her patients to gain their trust for a more enjoyable dental visit. She has a blended family with her husband Daniel. They have four children. Joel, Alyss, Elena and Mark. During her free time she enjoys long hikes and being outdoors with her dog Luna.

Kim

Dental Assistant

Kimberly is a certified dental assistant. She has been working with Cloninger Dentistry since 2010. Kimberly enjoys helping all patients achieve happy, healthy smiles. She is married to Casey and has one son, Tucker. In her spare time, she loves fishing, swimming, hiking, working out and spending time with her family, friends, and her pets.

Shelby

Dental Assistant

Shelby is a registered dental assistant and has been working with Cloninger Dentistry since 2018. Shelby enjoys interacting with all patients. She is married to Joey and has two sons, Owen and Drew. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and spending time with her family.

Kelsie

Dental Assistant

Kelsie joined our team in March of 2026. She has become a great asset to our team. She came from the medical field, and having little knowledge about the dental field, she is eager to learn and soak up all she can and has done a wonderful job. Kelsie has two daughters, Madilynn and Khloe. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her girls, hiking, swimming, and riding motorcycles.

Aniston

Dental Assistant

Aniston joined Cloninger Dentistry soon after graduating from Catawba Valley
Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2025. She has been a great addition to our team. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and swimming, spending time with her family and friends and her 2 dogs, Vega and Nova.

Andrea

Dental Assistant

Andrea was born in Costa Rica and moved in 1998 to the United States, She graduated from High school in 1993 from Liceo de Santa Bárbara , in 2010 she graduated from the Lake Norman Dental Assistant School. She joined our team in March of 2026. She loves helping patients and seeing them happy and smiling, also answer questions and educate them through her dental knowledge and is a great help to translate Spanish, She has a son Antonio , in her free time she loves the mountains, learning about Jesus, spending time with my family, church activities, cooking, going to the movies, hiking, running, sky diving, and learning new things every day.

Brooke

Insurance Coordinator

Brooke joined Cloninger Dentistry in 2025 working in the insurance department. She has been in the dental field since 2019 previously working from front desk to regional manager. She is a great addition to our team and brings a great deal of knowledge with her. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband and two sons. She loves time outdoors admiring God’s creation. She especially loves time at the beach and camping with her family. Faith and family drive her daily.
